Manus Label Releases VESTIGE, a New Digital EP Featuring Violinist Jiyuan Yang

Manus Label is pleased to announce the release of VESTIGE, a new digital EP featuring violinist Jiyuan Yang with pianist Piaoru Li.

The recording brings together three works of quiet intensity and lyrical intimacy: Fritz Kreisler’s Alt-Wiener Tanzweisen: No. 2, Liebesleid, Astor Piazzolla’s Oblivion, and Jules Massenet’s Méditation from Thaïs. Written across different musical worlds, these pieces are bound by a shared sense of remembrance—music that seems to linger after its final note.

The title VESTIGE suggests what remains: a trace of feeling, a suspended memory, an echo that resists disappearance. In this program, nostalgia is not treated as sentimentality, but as something more fragile and precise—a way of listening to what time leaves behind.

Kreisler’s Liebesleid opens the EP with Viennese grace shaded by melancholy. Piazzolla’s Oblivion follows with its unmistakable stillness and restrained passion, while Massenet’s Méditation offers a closing space of reflection, tenderness, and inward light.

Yang’s playing brings a warm, focused lyricism to the program, shaped with sensitivity and restraint. Alongside Piaoru Li at the piano, the performances unfold with an intimate sense of dialogue, allowing each work to breathe without excess.

Produced by Manus Label, with artistic direction by Mingfu Han, VESTIGE reflects the label’s continued commitment to recordings shaped by thoughtful curation, artistic clarity, and close collaboration with performers.

VESTIGE is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other major digital platforms.
