About the Release

Colombine takes its title from Amy Beach’s Les Rêves de Colombine.

The program brings together three movements from Beach’s Op. 65 (Nos. 3–5) with selected piano works by Florence Price: Adoration, Clouds, and Étude in C Major.

The pieces are presented as a concise set, moving between character writing and more direct, lyrical expression, and highlighting two distinct voices within early 20th-century piano repertoire.
